Great Work you guys. What a strong crew you have assembled. Scarey strong!
Also, some of you are suffering gradewise in my class. I hope it's not across the board, all classes. Do what you can to keep up and even get ahead when you can. Previewing is probably more effective than reviewing.
Finally, let's get some motivated 8th or even 7th graders who would like to be involved onboard. It will really pay off. Sometimes they will be able to contribute because they are not involved in honors and AP classes: they might have fewer time constraints.
I agree! I think that we should probably make an announcement to Hacken's and somehow advertise or at least tell them what this is about. Can we do this on Tuesday?
ReplyDeleteI've been in the 7th grade class. I'm thinking there will be 3 9th graders, 2 8ths and 1 7th. Understand that this is a VERY cool opportunity and that the kids that are chosen to go will be moving around, interacting in a very fast-moving adult world. These 6 students will have to do a couple of readings and be ready to build a tradition of sustainable local, regional, national and global development education.
ReplyDeleteOkay, and thank you Mr. Willey. Also who all is going to help in order to make that poster?
